Academic Strategy
Our Academic system is divided into three level:
Pre-School
Pre- School is an integral part of a child’s schooling. We provide education for children aged from 2½ to 5 years. For most of them, it is not only their introduction to formal education but it is also their first step towards independence. The aim of The Classic Pre School is to provide a strong foundation from which students can grow to become active participants in lifelong learning.
Grade One through Five
Primary education marks the start of the formal education in a child’s life and begins when a child turns to around 5 to 6 years of age. It is the first stage of compulsory education, preceded by pre-school or nursery education and is followed by secondary education. The major goals of primary education are achieving basic literacy amongst all pupils, as well as establishing foundations in Science, Mathematics, Urdu, English, Social Studies, Islamic Studies and Computer.
Grade Six through Eight
The Classic school provide the best possible environment that will contribute to the development of our students both physically and mentally. The emphasis in the school is on inculcating a “spirit of inquiry” at a very early age. The medium of instruction is English with due emphasis on MATHEMATIS, SCIENCE, URDU, ISLAMIC STUDIES, HISTORY, GEOGRAPHY and COMPUTER.
ADMISSION CRITERIA
Admission at The Classic School depends on the following conditions:
- Availability of seats
- Score of Admission Test
- Interview of Child/Parent
ADMISSION TEST AND INTERVIEW
- Playgroup Interview only
- Nursery Interview only
- Prep Interview/Test
The admission test for primary and secondary school is based on the following subjects and classes:
- Class 1 to Class II English, Urdu, Mathematics and General Knowledge (oral)
- Class III to VII English, Urdu, Mathematics and Science
- Children are admitted in Playgroup on first come first serve basis as seats are limited
- Admission in Nursery and Prep classes is open throughout the year to fill in any vacancy.
- Admission in Class 1 to 8 is subject to student test in English, Urdu and Mathematics
